Books-great. Staff-great. Helpline-great. Packaging-great. Courier? Terrible. I think Postcript is a great company but they really are damaging their reputation by using Hermes.

Apart from using the worst delivery company in the country (Hermes, rebranded as Evri) as their primary courier, Postscript Books are still worth buying from. As soon as they realised that Hermes (how on Earth do they constantly get away with it?!) were not going to deliver my order, they resent it using DPD and I had my parcel within 48 hours. Very pleasant and understanding customer service.

They have a new 'improved' website. I am not sure improved is an accurate word. It lists Apple Pay but that does not work.

Also tried to use Click and Collect and cannot move the next steps.

I also have to click 'read more' when trying to read the description of the book. Most of the time it only displays one or two more lines. Very annoying.

I ordered 3 books (2 Hardback + 1 Paperback) on a Saturday afternoon. The order was dispatched on Monday (and tracking number & link provided by email), and arrived on Wednesday morning via Hermes tracked (now EVRI)!

The order was very well-packed in a rigid cardboard mailer, (unlike some of the uncaring, cheapskate merchants that carelessly & ignorantly just chuck them in thin plastic bags*), so all arrived in PERFECT condition.

I simply could not be happier with Postscript Books and will definitely be buying from them again!

I HIGHLY recommend Postscript Books for a fast, efficient, professional service from start to finish! :)

*Such as the dreadful Chalkys + World of Books + Bantam Books etc. who have zero respect for their customers or their purchased products (chucking easily damaged items like Books, CDs etc. into thin, cheap, plastic bags which offer ZERO PROTECTION is irresponsible, ignorant, unprofessional, uncaring, disrespectful and plain stupid)!

So, IF you want your items - which you've paid your hard-earned money for - delivered FAST and in the same PERFECT CONDITION they are supplied to the retailers by the manufacturers & distributors, then Postscript Books is a really GREAT CHOICE! :)

I always enjoy receiving the catalogue as it often contains books of interest which I probably would not buy if full price.Good service at alltimes

Ordered a calendar from this bookstore. They were the only online retailer to have it in stock and at a very good price. It arrived quickly and nicely packaged so it wouldn't get damaged in transit. Thank you!

Decent prices however I specifically asked for and paid for next day delivery. This has not turned up and I am likely to have to wait another day or two. They've used hermes who are awful. I won't be using you again I'm afraid as you've massively let me down on the date I needed it to be delivered. I perhaps reconsider if you used a different courier.

I think I found PostScript (PS) Books because they are on Amazon or eBay. I normally order directly with a company if they have the same prices and delivery options - I've now placed two orders with them and have been satisfied on both occasions.

They have a good range of books and some of the (heavy) hardbacks are excellent value. Delivery charges are low and reasonable particularly for a decent size order. Well worth a rummage for Christmas gifts.

I have been a customer of Postscript Books for a few years now and their service has been excellent.

They have a very wide range of books covering diverse subjects many of which are not readily available elsewhere and at very good prices which are often absolute bargains.

My books have always arrived well packed and in good time. All their packaging is now 100% biodegradable so they have gone green and are trying to do their best for the environment which is commendable. It is a lot more than can be said for some companies who, despite all the media coverage on the damage to the environment, still use lots of plastic packaging including sending catalogues in plastic covers.

Have used PS Books for several years now and have always had great service. Good quality books arrive well-packaged, and within 2 or 3 days of order. Excellent selection available - always look forward to the PS catalogue. Also have to say (having read some negative comments about the courier) that I have never had a problem with Hermes delivery service.

I've used Postscript for many years ( back from when they were Sandpiper Books and were more catalogue based rather than online - they are consistenty reliable, have a good and easily navigated website, and deliver promptly. Many could learn from them.
Value, bargain and ( high quality) remainder books .

BIG problem with Hermes as always usual untruths.
Customer service was very helpful sorted the problem the book was delivered as ordered just late.
Please don't use Hermes they are unreliable and untruthful.

The range of cut price books is wonderful. The only problem is that they use Hermes who usually cock everything up. Today I e-mailed Postscript about Hermes latest and received a reply very quickly apologising and offering to use DPD for my deliveries in future. As far as I'm concerned Postscript can do no wrong.

I ordered a book Lost London from here via Amazon but it never arrived. I since sent three messages to the shop but have all been ignored. Still waiting for a refund.. this was ordered in the 5th April. Terrible service.

The books were great but the box they came in was caved in at one end.
